PRE-SEASON TRAINING CAMP
For the last 8 years we have attended our over night training camp during pre-season week. We feel as coaches that this is the best way to prepare us for the up coming season. The camp allows us to teach the game of football, teach team building activities, and introduce leadership skills, along with getting to know your teammates with out any side distractions.
The players are housed in dorm style cabins. The players are fed breakfast, lunch, and diner each night. The coaching staff is in constant supervision throughout the entire camp, staying right with the players.
We feel this is a wonderful opportunity for our players to enhance their football skills and also bond together as a team.
The cost of the camp is $200.00 with the check being made out to the DY Quarterback Club. However every DY Football player will have the opportunity to go to camp for free. By selling raffle tickets!!
THE DY QUARTERBACK CLUB HAS CREATED A FOOL PROOF WAY FOR OUR PLAYERS TO PAY FOR THE CAMP. EACH PLAYER WILL SELL 10 RAFFLE TICKETS, EACH TICKET IS WORTH $20 DOLLARS. HENCE SELL 10 AND GO TO CAMP FOR FREE. IF YOU SELL 5 YOU CAN PAY THE DIFFERENCE ($100) ETC. THIS WILL ALLOW ALL PLAYERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO AFFORD CAMP.
IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SELL RAFFLE TICKETS THAT’S FINE BUT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING IN A CHECK FOR $200.00 FOR CAMP.
CAPE COD SEA CAMPS
BREWSTER MASS
The camp we will be attending is “CAPE COD SEA CAMPS”, right down the road in Brewster. There are some absolute advantages with being so close to home and also some disadvantages. The fields are awesome, and there are other teams to work out with at the camp. However we feel that there could be a disadvantage with being so close to home. Players will not be allowed to leave and we hope you will respect what we need to do, and that is work. Therefore we will not allow friends, family, etc to be at the camp. Camp is for players and coaches to prepare for the upcoming season. We hope everybody will respect this, so we can get started on the right foot.
We will leave on Tuesday August 24th at 8:00am and return Friday August 27th at approximately 7:00pm.
